Winter sports enthusiasts will definitely get their money's worth on slopes, cross-country trails and hiking trails. But the valley also offers a colorful mix for holidaymakers who do not practice winter sports.
Nobody has to worry about bored children here either, because the choice of leisure activities is as diverse as the preferences of the little ones.

In paragliding circles, the Tannheimer Tal is an insider tip.
Those who dare to go up to lofty heights will find the best conditions in the flight area on the Neunerköpfle - whether alone or as a tandem flight. The mountain railway takes you comfortably to the summit, only a few steps away from the station are the two natural launch sites. When the wind is blowing north, east and west, beginners and professionals can take off on extended flights with a fantastic view over the mountains of the Allgäu and Tyrol. The large landing area is directly opposite the valley station of the mountain railway.
The offer is rounded off by flight schools on site.

Whether it's fun on the slopes with the whole family, hiking excursions in the idyllic mountain landscape or action on the toboggan run - all of this is possible with the "Winter mountain railways included" offer. It applies to skiers and snowboarders as well as to hikers, snowshoeers and tobogganists. In this way, guests can plan their vacation flexibly and experience all the diversity of the Tannheimer Valley.
Skiers and snowboarders can use all mountain railways in the Tannheimer Valley, and for hikers the ticket opens the doors to the railways in Tannheim, Grän and Nesselwängle.
From January 11th to 28th and March 15th to 18th, 2021, the lift tickets from Monday to Thursday are included for all guests who book a minimum stay of three nights.

Ballooning in the Tannheimer Tal
In winter the balloons fly directly over the Tannheimer Tal and the Bavarian Alpine foothills. Although you have to dress warmly for an excursion at lofty heights during the cold season, the reward is excellent visibility and views of the Zugspitze, South Tyrol and Switzerland with hundreds of mountain peaks.
