Trudging through the untouched Tyrolean mountains of the Allgäu Alps on snowshoes is a very special experience for many.

When choosing a route, however, it is important to pave the way take that are not in wildlife or nature reserves.

On snowshoes you go right into the winter realm of the Tannheim mountains. The great advantage of this discipline, which is becoming more popular from year to year.

Compared to other winter sports, it can be learned very easily and in a very short time. Two snowshoes, a pair of hiking boots and two sticks in your hand - you're ready to go on a journey of discovery.

Preferably with a local mountain and hiking guide who knows the most attractive places along the way. The specialist trade in the Tannheimer Tal also offers the possibility of renting snowshoes.

Away from the groomed paths, the untouched winter landscape awaits adventurers:

The Lohmoos circuit is a particularly beautiful path that leads through the Lohmoos, a raised bog. It will not be cleared and is therefore ideal for snowshoe hikes through the snow-covered landscape.
Starting from Tannheim, the high path leads at the foot of the Einstein to Zöblen.

Another highlight of the tour is the Zugspitzblick: To enjoy this view, guests turn left at Häldeler Berg and follow the signs to the panorama view.

A total of 12 kilometers and around 420 vertical meters are covered on this round and is also suitable for families.

We would appreciate it:
